Saison Amer: Galaxy (Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Fermented)

Typical appearance for an afterthought saison. Golden with some small white bubbles on the edges and as islands. Smell is sauvignon blanc barrel heavy, with vinous elements, oak, grape must, orange, lemon, brett and belgian yeast. Taste adds in flowers and slight hops to everything from the smell, but really you leave the sip with the white wine flavors heavily intact on the palate. Thinner and warmer for a saison, but barrel character gives nice texture and hops a little sharpness.
