Poured crystal clear gold with an active head of white bubbles. Smells is full of white wine barrel elements: oak, white grape juice and skins, dry white wine, plus touches of lemon, hay, barrel funk, and earthy minerals. Taste takes all of that goodness and put it on a thrill ride that starts juicy and sweet, and then through the sips move to dry and vinous. Amazing. Add some date and plum up front, and near the end add some orange zest to the flavors mentioned in the smell. Feel also perfectly captures the dry white wine aged saison, super bright, wet then dry, and thin. Sure it may be a little more simple than some other of their saisons, but they absolutely nailed the construction
