Slightly bubbly clear golden body, clean pour. Smell is the star: melon, lemon, peach, nectarine, funky yeast, wood, dry white wine, and pear. The taste starts warm with the booze, white wine, oak, melon and peach, but then takes a sharp hoppy turn into grains and then, unfortunately, a metallic finish with the dry vinous qualities. Feel is sneaky grainy/hoppy, with decent oak souring but less than expected from foretaste.
