Afterthought Brewing Company

Slightly cloudy and bubbly straw colored body with a finger of white foam that settles into a ring. Smell has intense passion fruit, lemon, mango and funk, with some paw paw, pear, and a kiss of gin. Taste is a little out of balance with the intensity of the passion fruit tartness and acidity, wanted more of the gin to cut with the bitters and salt, plus the funk is not as abundant as in the smell, but still a fine tasting ale with lemon, paw paw, melon, with a finish that has some bubblegum, belgian yeast, and peach. Feel starts wet but dries well in a hurry, very bright, slightly tart and acidic, but transitions are a bit jarring, especially compared to other BDP blends from afterthought.
