Love the original table beer from afterthought, so was excited to try this special blend edition. Pale golden body with a white ring, lacing, and active carbonation. Smell has lemon, belgian yeast, oak, faint flowers and the slightest earthy tree root, not intense overall. Taste explodes in comparison, huge lemon, oak, and sweet tart flavors, with grass, flowers, belgian yeast, barrel funk and orange zest. Found the original to have more nuance, but this is equally bright, refreshing, effervescent, and crisp on the finish, but now has a kiss of tartness.
