Bubbly dark golden body with an off-white cap. Get the gooseberry right away off the nose, with wood, lemon, kiwi, herbal hops, and wild yeast, much smoother than the BDP 14. Taste however sees the berry add to the intensity of the finish, resulting in the herbal amaro flavors invading through the berry, destroying the nuance of the barrel, funk, yeast, citrus, and light tropical fruit. Little hot in the booze in the taste and a feel, sharp and pungent with the barrel and berries. Just wasn't for me
