Blend of Circle Tour: Oak Aged and Saison Meer: Buckwheat with a little bit of a version of L'Internationale: Blueberry & Spent Black Currant. Circle Tour was an experimental blonde hoppy beer that we then added to a neutral oak barrel with our culture. The L'Internationale version that went into this was the blonde base aged in a red wine barrel that then received some second-use black currants as well as a light dose of blueberries.

Burnt orange murky body with a tight white head, decently carbonated. Smells of barrel funk, rustic grains, barnyard funk, lemon, dried berries, grapefruit, black currants, red grapes, dry red wine, wildflowers, and lots of oak, very expressive. Taste opened up even more taking all of those aromas and adding flavors of wheat, berries, champagne, wild yeast, and grass. Feel is slightly tart and sour, with good graininess mixed into the hardy funk and oak. One of the better afterthoughts in awhile, though much more on the fruity side
