The second blend to come out of Barrel #13, which is a red wine barrel from an Illinois winery. The barrel previously held one of the versions of L'Internationale before it began its life as a vessel that is taking on a life akin to a solera barrel. A portion of the first blend that was in this barrel was used as a component of Bière de Pieces #22. This "Second Blend" consists of the original blend topped off with Table and more Noble.

Mostly clear dull gold with active carbonation, frothy white head and lacing. Smells of lemon zest, sourdough bread, brett, barrel funk, slight horse blanket, oak, red wine, pear, grapefruit and slight minerals. So much packed into a delicate nose. Taste is pretty much the same but more intense, but the fruit and oak lead at first before the funk sets in as a dance partner. Together they waltz through a present but not overbearing wine barrel, earthy minerals, and floral yeast in addition to what was smelled. Taste evolves as it warms. A kiss of tartness accent the bright feel, but really the funk, oak and gentle red wine shape the feel. So bright and delicate yet complex, a technical masterpiece
