Clear gold body with a white collar. Nose starts with oak, lemon juice, and relatively buttery malt then huge rose petals, some bretty funk, earthy berry and dry white wine crash in, has hints of grandma's cupboard. Taste is very different, night and day really: sour and almost juicy lemon, elderberry, mulberry, and cantaloupe, with the roses springing up for the finish with mild funk and some kind of bright yeast or grain. Feel is tart, oak laden, starts bright but gets dark with accompanying tartness quickly. More interesting than good
