We brewed an experimental batch of lager but the times being what they are, we didn't really have anything to do with it, so we transferred it to another fermented with dandelion honey and our house culture before dry-hopping with Cascade.

Bottled on 7/8/20; consumed on 7/10/21
Pours a lightly foggy sunflower gold body, meanderingly effervescent, and capped with a finger and a half rocky, sudsy, off-white foam; solid head retention leaves a thin veil of frothy cap along with a more substantial collar and occasional splotching of dense, webby lacing holding to the walls of the glass.
Aroma presents clean funk accented with a lactic twang and cut with a denser, mineralic undertone; floral stems and roots give in to wet honey for impressions of a dirt-rich sweetness over the middle as yeasty undertones of white bread and citrus zest show the dry-hopped and lagered influences on the bouquet.
Taste of damp grass is backed by minerals with a mild granite staunchness upfront, calmly embracing floral stems and light lemon for an earthy contrast over a semi-funky mid-palate before an underlying citrus zest finishes on a slightly brighter note.
Mouthfeel brings a light body with a soft, prickly, moderate carbonation, while wet textures carry an underlying crispness and a mild acidity breeds a delicately tart complexion through the mid-palate; gliding with a dulled acetic character on the back end, a refreshingly drying finish maintains a persistent underscore of moist funk.
A distant, pastoral simplicity is paramount in this hybrid of a wild ale, combining the seemingly disparate sensitivities of lager yeast and level funk with an intermittent dry-hopped addendum in a quenching nod to an easygoing, rustic brew.

Cloudy yellow with a white cap. Smells like a honey lager with wild yeast and a touch of citrus hops. Tastes much the same, but the yeast brings out the floral and general botanical notions of the honey out, orange, lemon, sweet tarts, and melon all in the background. Feel is yeasty but not heavy or bready, finishes bright and decently tart. Fascinating beer that is a light delight
