A blend of two barrel-aged versions of Faible. Each portion was aged in one of the barrels in the beer name, both of which are former Journeyman gin barrels. While we'd already extracted all of the gin character from each barrel, we find that the Journeyman barrels continue to impart a beautiful vanilla oak character long after the gin has faded away.

Hazy pale canary gold, a finger of foam and some visble carb trails and suspended sediment.
Eucalyptus and dried citrus peel aroma, musty attic wood.
Big juniper and eucalyptus, grapefruit peel, lime zest. Oaky vanilla lends a nice roundness. Softly effervescent, mild acidity, easily drinkable. Overall it’s a nice blend.

Cloudy yellow body with two fingers of white foam. Honey, flowers, gin, bright oak, a sneaky expressive funk, hint of leaves with citrus zest in the nose. Taste has huge gin, grapefruit and funk, honey, sweet tart oak, flowers, with vanillins, light peach skin, and a hint of lemon zest. Amazing complexity and intensity. Feel is bright, lightly sour, decently barrel forward but not boozy, light delicate nature is pleasant.
