375ml bottle poured into Allagash stemmed glass.
Appearance: Strawberry pink body with bone white head.
Smell: Light tart berries and pink lemonade.
Taste: Sweettarts candies, light lemon-lime zest, and hint of earthy oak funk.
Mouthfeel: light body with high carbonation levels. The beer's texture is pillowy, bright, softly effervescent . Clean finish. Incredible texture to this mixed culture saison. Infinitely sessionable, but you really want to savor this beer.
Overall: The flavors are simple and well balanced, but the texture of this saison is really what's really excellent. Every time I drink an Afterthought beer, I realize that I still need to visit the brewery and also that I should really try a lot more of their offerings. Everything that I have had from them has been really impressive.
