Cloudy orange body with a finger of white foam. Smell captures the fresh cut strawberry with gin, bright oak, flowers, wild funk, and light vinous notes. Taste is absolutely incredible, especially given the difficulty of the strawberry: it starts with gin, white wine, bright oak, setting the stage for the big fresh strawberry, and accenting grapefruit, lemon, and flowers before the house culture, funk, minerals and a hint of honeycomb finish. Complex, delicate, expressive, artful, and never lets the strawberry leave the spotlight without being heavy handed. Sourness with a kiss of acidity is playful, springy even.
