“Mixed fermentation ale brewed with New Zealand hops aged in an oak barrel.”
Pale gold with bright clarity, huge head that settles into a thin skim and halo of spotty lace. Skunky hops, lemon lime zest, light botanicals. Reminiscent of Fantome.
Tart and lemony, crisp with zesty character. Pretty similar to their other stuff, with some semi-tropical calamansi fruit character from the NZ hop addition, eucalyptus in the dry aftertaste. Light bodied and effervescent. Overall nice to try, not much different than Afterthought’s other stuff.
