We took a mead barrel aged saison brewed with MI Copper hops and then further refermented it with 2lbs/gallon of mulberries. As with Saison Avec: Cherry & Elderberry, we carbonated the bottles to a lower volume to bring the texture of this one more towards a fruit wine, letting the jammy fruity shine.

Dark beet purple body, purple tinted cap. Smell explodes with mulberry, oak with hints of plum and grape support yet there is a simple mild funk contrasting. Taste is sour mulberry forward as well, oak is darker than expected but still tart amplifying, plum, red grape, and black current jammy supports, funk is very mild. Feel is simpler as well: sour, light acidity, lighter bodied, and smooth.
