Having this beer on-tap At the Euclid location. Served in a tulip glass, this beer draws a clear medium to dark golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles continuously rising to the beer’s surface. Has a white head that is about Half an inch thick when first John Adams served, that eventually saddles to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass and small cluster squirrels of film layer surface foam. Not much lacing at all here. Aromas of some bready malts, some yeasty and fruity esters, and a bit of herbal spice notes. A very similar flavor profile, with some bready malts, yeasty and fruity notes that give way to a hint of barnyard funk, and an herbal note with a touch of peppercorn spice. A slight note of herbal, floral hops round out the flavor profile here. Has a crisp, and smooth, slightly frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. Very drinkable and all of the flavors line the inside of my mouth palate and linger for a while after each sip for the aftertaste. A solidly good representation of this style of beer.
