Surprised again by this brewery. One of the better amber ales. It’s a little on the thin side but all the beers from them are on the thin side but tasty at the same time. I’ve tried all the beers in variety pak except the Black porter.

12 ounce bottle - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a near clear, amber-tan body with a small-sized, thinning, yellow-beige head.
Smell: Moderately toasted bready with a backing of crisped, firm grain. Hoppy hints of zested citrus, piquant pine with some slight dry, grassy tones.
Taste: Toasted crackly breadcrusts, toasted grain given a crunchy coating of caramel. Medium sweetness throughout. The pleasant, ample maltiness in the fore slides steadily into hops, giving touches of tangerine-lemon, slender pine and dehydrated grasses. Medium bitterness, sufficient to balance things out, at least enough to give you a bittersweet, smooth finish with lingering toasty elements and pine-peppered citrus.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Printer's Ale. Frankly, I thought we'd heard the last from them, not that I ever heard much at all. After a few years on the market, I could never ever found them in stores and couldn't find them on tap within the Greater Metro Atlanta area. It left me wondering if, at best, they were simply happy in the vicinity of Carrollton or West Georgia portions, or, at worst, were struggling to get things going. So, it was nice to see a whole row of bottled offerings at the nearby Total Wine. Magenta is a solid, if conservative amber, never straying too particularly sweet and malty or hop-forward and bitter.

Poured from the tap into a tulip glass. The appearance is a clear red amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is slight malt and grass. The taste is mostly grass with an earthy finish.
