On tap. Really hazy peach color with white head. Aroma has citrus fruits and grainy malt. Taste is hoppy with a light background sweetness, almost no bitterness, just a bit on the aftertaste. Medium body with medium plus carbonation. Easy drinking and fresh but it lacks a bit on the aroma.

New England IPA, the label says - and its daaaamn good! Damn tropical!
In the nose you get red oranges, sweet pink grapefruits and amazingly the taste follows this all the way, no fade out, no watery aftertaste! Very intensive tropical citrusy taste all the way. Peaches surface, creating an amazing experience of flavor.
I had quite many craft beers from Hungary but perhaps this is the most outstanding one so far. Extremely recommended!

About a year later that I added and reviewed this beer, I came across once again and made me re-evaluate it. Perhaps because the beer was a fresh one when I drank it first, or the opposite, that I had quite a few NEIPAs since then, but this beer didn't hit me like it did the first time. It felt quite mediocre and quite far from being outstanding, like I felt when drinking it for the first time. Anyway, we all know how good beers Mad Scientist can brew so it is still going to be a good beer - only that there are much better NEIPAs on the market now, even in Hungary. (The rating has been re-adjusted accordingly on 8.11.2018).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
