Copenhagen 14/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Boruops Allé, Frb. F. Guy in his (orange) underwear hacking away at a Mango tree with a knife to save damsel in distress (in her underwear).
Pours opaque, hazy orange with a midsized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin film of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a potent sweet odor of canned fruit mingling with lightly acid notes. canned peach and mango. Lactose. Light whiff of lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, slightly viscous, soft, smooth, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong, fruity sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet - bordering on being sugary. Lingers for a while. Finish is fruity sweet and a bit dry.
A tad too sweet for my taste buds - and it would have been nice if the Mango did not come out of a can.

Poured from 440mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 8/31/23. This is a "mango milkshake pale ale", according to the label -- sounds like a heck of a thing!
Appearance: medium orange hue with a bit of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Not bad.
Smell: earthy and fruity, although not juicy or overly sweet. It smells very natural, without being too candylike.
Taste: much more sweet in the flavor than in the aroma, with a moderate bitterness at the end. It's interesting, and not bad, but I feel like the mango's earthiness doesn't complement the pale ale aspects super well -- there's not enough contrast here. It's certainly not bad, but it's not as compelling as it could be.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is an interesting beer, and well worth trying, but it's not a beer I'm going to be clamoring for again in the future.

Would be the 2nd/3rd best mango beer i drank so far.
Staight from the country were i lived in the past. Was also the first beer by Mad Scientist i drank. As a scientist myself, i always like to see how the terms and related things are used for these types of stuff. haha
But about the beer now, because thats what matters:
Everything was on point. The taste was rly smooth and matches perfectly the smell. If the taste was a bit stronger/bitter, would be even greater, in my opinion.

Mango Milkshake Pale Ale (5.2%)
Already drunk several times, even on tap at the Spring Beer Festival 2019.
Immediately unmistakable scent of mango on the nose.
Evanescent and fast disappearing foam.
Cloudy yellow color, completely inscrutable.
In the mouth, light and drinkable body.
In addition to tropical fruit, there is a strong sensory contribution of lactose which gives "creaminess" / a sense of whipped cream, of what goes on the ice cream.
Pale Ale body, Session Ipa bitter.
Fairly balanced for the style to which it belongs.
I certainly feel a little (indeed, quite) of "artificiality", as I mean it, but it is still a pleasant "new generation" alternative to routine.

On tap. Hazy orange color with white head, aroma of mango, taste of mango with some hop bitterness at the end, medium body, average carbonation, very refreshing.

A mango milkshake pale ale. Looks amazing, smells 100% canned mango in syrup - and here is the point: it is very syrupy, very sweet - although preserving some of the mango fruitiness - but to an extent that made me rate the Feel down a bit, so overwhelming it is. Still it is quite good, very well crafted (a trademark of Mad Scientist) but lactose is not really for me, makes me sick. Here it is okay because you aren't looking for any hops in the taste, just fruits, and lactose is okay for nullifying all tastes, leaves nothing but the mango at bay... Might be interesting to try for some!

On tap. Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has sweet bubblegum notes with tropical fruits. Taste follows with the fruity bubblegum and candy notes with some hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body with smooth mouthfeel. The flavors are quite artificial but together with the hops it works out pretty well.
