This is truly excellent! An amazing one I chose at Beer Brothers, Budapest!
First of all, I had the Barba Pale Ale from LAB back in Dubrovnik, Croatia - but now Mad Scientist in Hungary plays a joke on them? Or is it a joint project? No idea.
But they use the same sailor on the label, although a bit queer - just like the beer itself, it is a sour IPA, but with amazingly tropical, pineapple, mango flavors in the nose, and in its taste you get, behind all these grand hops, a teuly exciting, sour farmhouse ale (not a belgian saison!)
Mad Scientist just hit a bullseye here. This might easily be my favorite Hungarian craft beer of 2018. Try it if you can!
