This was a "stone the crows!" beer by Simon the Real Ale Guide so I bought it - also because I'm proud of our good Hungarian craft beer. He was kind of raving how good a NEIPA it was so I was really looking forward to it but when I poured it into a glass I was already confused as it wasn't that hazy at all and when I took a sip - DAH! - it wasn't a NEIPA at all!!! It was "just" a juicy, piney, earthy, dank IPA... that I love!!! So after I put my expectations aside, I could enjoy this beer - it was great, juicy and grapefruity bitter, like a raw fruit. But nowhere near was it a NEIPA... only this part needs adjustment, otherwise it was a great IPA.
P.S.: I had another NEIPA from Heretic right after this an it was the same - so there ARE NEIPAs that are not that zesty, citrusy and juicy... Hmmmm...
