Copenhagen 4/4 2020. 33 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard Webshop. Drawing of a eye with pink, bunny ears. A hand doing the victory sign reflected in the eye.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized, stable white head. Settles as fine, thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and combines fruity freshness with sweet lactose. Peach, pineapple and lactose. Lighter notes of citric grape fruit and lemon.
Medium carbonation. Dampened by a medium thick, smooth, soft texture. Light tingle.
Flavor is medium intense. Medium sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste i sweetish. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Very smooth-ish IPA which is not as sweet as I would expect taking the style into account. Fresh, pleasant drink.
