I had this beer on tap in a tumbler in the beer garden at the brewery. This is a banana-coconut-cocoa sour.

Appearance: medium gold with a very light haze and a finger of white foam atop. Pretty!

Smell: the coconut is most prominent, but the cocoa and banana are in there too, atop a lightly refreshing sourness. You’d think it wouldn’t work, but it does.

Taste: sour up front, but not too much so. Again, coconut is prominent here, but the other flavors come through as well. Nicely done.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: it’s hot out, so of course this is refreshing. But I do think it’s a solid sour!
