I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a pint glass. They call this a “Double Fruited Gose With Guava, Cactus Fig & Lime”; it’s a collaboration with Stigbergets in Sweden.
Appearance: extremely murky pink-orange hue with a finger of white foam atop. I guess for something with this much fruit in it, you kind of expect the smoothie look.
Smell: sweet, with earthy guava and just a hint of lime. Tropical but also with a hint of sour; juicy and enticing.
Taste: tropical, earthy, tangy, sweet, a little salty. It’s a potent combination; reminiscent of fruit leather. As long as that’s what you’re looking for, this is a tasty beer.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a mega-drinkable, refreshing, fruity treat on a hot day. I’m down.
