Copehagen 23//1 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Dark green can with the name of the beer in gold. A lot of House of the Dragon and HBO paraphernalia.
Pours unclear, green-ish yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of Stone fruit with a whiff of sugar on top. Tart, citric notes. Sweet peach and mango. White sugar. Lemon and lime. A bit subdued.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Citric. Aftertaste is sweetish at first with a tart undertone that slowly takes over. Lingers for a while- Finish is quite dry.
Behind the green color hides a tart NEIPA.
