Eclipse Brewing "English Mild"

Mostly clear deep amber beneath a short head of white. The aroma is of buttery-toffee and that carries over into the flavor with some bread and lightly caramelish malt, an apple-like fruitiness, and moderate leafy hops. It's light-medium in body and certainly doesn't seem to be just 3.0% ABV given its mouthfeel and flavor. It's only moderately bitter but it's still able to achieve a mostly dry finish. Technically the buttery diacetyl is a flaw but there are brewers who purposefully introduce it, and I actually enjoy it myself. In this beer it works. One of my favorites from Eclipse.
