ne BeerAdvocate beer trade with a nonesecured alternative source from a former Manchester connection (Jamie 5OBC) source that pours a slightly hazy golden body with good thick white head aroma is caramel with citrus adding that to the flavour of peach

A: An 8 oz. pour into a mini-shaker pint shows a dark orange coloring with a slight, creamy beige topping that was moderately retaining. A dense coloring, with no visible carbonation or lacing.
S: The nose was quite pleasant, cream of oranges, sweet and tangy, citrusy fruit, of good strength. Really fresh and wet scent, orange blossoms, with a warming floral trail.
T: The flavor was dry hopped, orange peel, dry citrus and flowery. Good bitterness factor, the abv. well balanced and managed. Strong malt support, warming alcohol and hopping.
M: Malty mouthful, dry, with a a quiet sense of carbonation.
O: Overall a nice dry hopped old school IPA. Dry citrus-orange, flowery, with a good enough strength to parch the tongue upon exit. Well balanced, easy drinking and good malt support.
