Taster flight at BH taproom. Light, clear amber pour, spotty head, ring of off-white foam. Light malty aroma. Taste is caramel, malty, minor sweetness. Very light all around.

On tap at brewery:
Light brown with perhaps a slight copper lean. Initial head is frothy, but hardly any lacing from the remaining thick collar. A caramel-laced malt toast with some black tea / iced tea impressions greets my nose.
Taste is more toasty with a hint of tea so start, with some sweetness playing on the side of my tongue to evoke a sweet tea memory. It isn’t nearly that sweet, though, even as the toasted malt mix of caramelized grain sweeps in. A mineral note comes in and joins the mildly leafy/earthy bitterness to keep things in balance. Pretty tasty, though it could be a little lighter, in my opinion.

A fantastic tasting Marzen lager. Malty, bready and carrying a subtle sweetness that begs you to order another pint.
