Poured from a fresh crowler. Reddish brown body with a cream cap and light lacing. Smell and taste are clones: gooey dark caramel is lush and full without being overly sweet, dipping in is fig, raisin, prune, and plum, with belgian yeast and wholehearted booze balancing. It is absolutely delicious while being true to the quad parameters. Feel is heavy, full, malty, and warm with booze, more than usual for style but not enough to be an issue, yeast textures are authentic and pleasing. One of the best USA brewed quads I have ever had without help from a barrel. The wife liked it

On tap at the brewery taproom in Asheville.
Pours with a reddish-brown body and a semi-durable beige head.
Fruity aroma. The high ABV is not exposed here but is too obvious upon tasting.
Basically true to style.
