Mosaic Blueberry Wheat

I went into this expecting the worst. The day before I tried this beer, I had sampled another blueberry beer called "Blu" at a bar in Crosby, MN(the home of Cuyuna Brewing) and it was awful. Basically a blueberry lambic. Tasted like canned blueberries watered down and alcoholic. So my expectations were VERY low. I asked the bartender at the Cuyuna bar for a sampler just on a whim. I was so surprised at how good this beer was that I ordered a full pint after that. This one was more of a standard American Lager with the slightest hint of blueberry. The flavor was more on the nose than in the actual taste so it wasn't overpowering at all. The downside is that this was extremely light bodied, had almost no finish, and the flavor evaporated instantly. I'd definitely drink it again, but it would never be a staple of mine. But if you're ever in Crosby, you should definitely stop in and try this one if they have it on tap.
