A post-fermentation Earl Grey tea infusion gives our copper-colored pale ale its light floral character. Whether you reign as Queen of Carnival or you drive the tractor pulling her float, everyone can #DrinkLikeRoyaltea.

This is a moderately bitter Pale Ale. Probably even on the lower end for an American incarnation. But this is not a typical American Pale Ale at all. The hops are not citric or grapefruity. The aroma and in particular the flavor remind me strongly of the Austrian soft drink called Almdudler with its unique herbal flavor. This is an interesting offering.

Light amber color with a haze. The head dies quickly but leaves a few streaks.
Mild aroma with good balance.
The flavor leans sweet but, overall, is fairly traditional for an APA. The sweet flavor reminds me of fruit punch. The hop provides some balance to a refreshing beer. Fuller body with a subdued effervescence.

RoyalTea has a thin, off-white head, a fairly hazy, bubbly, tan-gold appearance, and minimal glass lacing. Aroma is of citrus, tea, sweet, bready malt, cracker, and possibly honey. Taste is of all that, with a noticeable, yet not strong, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and RoyalTea finishes mostly dry. RJT
