From Port Orleans, "equal parts grassy and citrus hops, and roasted caramel body balance this beer into a dynamic taste adventure. English in style, American ingredients, made for the rough passage to India; refresh yourself and continue your rebellion against the redcoats!"
Okay, aside from the hyperbole and anachronisms, this is a decent IPA. Darker in color with a bit more caramel than normal. Good lace.
Caramel aroma with very little hop.
The hop comes through more as a balance than a major flavor. Drier than I expected with hoppy bitter finish contrary to the initial taste.
