A light and refreshing addition to our seasonal lager lineup. It's brewed with a Mexican lager yeast, light malt and corn, and a dose of lime-inspired Motueka hops. This one's going down real smooth...

16 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a small fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus zest, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, cracker, corn, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of toast, biscuit, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of limes, citrus/fruity hops, and moderate pale malt/corn notes; with good strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus zest, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, cracker, corn, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of toast, biscuit, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness; with lime tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, citrus zest, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of of limes, citrus/fruity hops, and moderate pale malt/corn flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and no astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly sticky/zesty mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is an excellent fruited American lager. All around great robustness and balance of of limes, citrus/fruity hops, and moderate pale malt/corn flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/tart/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of vibrant limes, and Moteuka hops; with a great clean pils malt/grainy backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Not overdone on adjuncts. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. No complaints.
