Our Bavarian-style Dunkles Bockbier is brewed with a complex mix of pilsner and crystal malts, which leads to a deep amber color and a full-bodied brew. Decoction mashing enhances this beer’s rich malty and caramel flavors. It all comes together as a strong, yet smooth lager.

Drank 3/31/26. Best by 4/18/26, so not ideally fresh, but probably not as impactful as, say, an IPA.
Pour is a crystal clear amber with a lasting cap of beige foam. Good retention and lacing.
Nose is toasted grain, caramel,
Taste is toasted grain, bread crust, caramel, and ends with a distinct nuttiness....pecans?

In my opinion, it’s a perfect example of the style and exactly what I’m looking for when I pick up a bock! I’d add more, but the description on the beer is dead on and describes it quite well.

12oz can with a best by date of 5-5-26, opened 3-21-26.
1+ finger sand colored head with very good retention and early lacing. Rings of lace follow the beer down.
Orange-amber body with good clarity.
Rich and malty with a sweet caramel aroma.
Brown bread, grain, sweet caramel, layered flavor - fairly deep with toasty caramel and there's a fruity note as well.
Medium body and carbonation. Finish starts sweet but ends up less sweet in a great way - off dry, maybe.
Tasty brew, nice surprise.
Very Good.

Clear light auburn pour, tight khaki head. Nose is roasted grain.
Taste leans in with medium kilned malt, roasted grains, some caramel, touch of plum, restrained floral. Medium to full mouthfeel, velvety. Finish is sweet dark malt with hearty bread.
