Copenhagen 1/12 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé. Simple green label with the brewery's logo and a abbreviation of the beer name.
Very gushy upon opening. Pours unclear pale yellow with a huge white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citrus and a bit of grass. Sweet pale malts, bread, lemon and freshly mown grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Nice and appropriately bitter Pilsener.

My first from the Ebeltoft farmhouse brewery. I went on their website (no English button I could find) but watched their cute video made during Covid 19. I'm still looking for an update I can understand. But they seem to be having fun.
As for NGP, it seems close to style and regional interpretation of it. Big foam Looks, mostly malt Smells, same sweetness in the attack but by mid-palate the hops have taken over and don't let go. Medium-mouthed and soft (North Germans use softer water.)
I bought this can from Mikkeller & Friends bottle shop at Copenhagen's Norreport Market whose selection is heavily influenced by employees. So they must like NGP more than me.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 5.0%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of grassy, floral and herbal German hops, on a background of sweetish pilsener malts. Crisp and refreshing pilsener flavour, some residual sweetness, the hops become sharp and medicinal in the aftertaste.
