On tap at Merit.
Appearance - Mostly filtered, so a fairly clear coppery brew with a finger plus of off white head. Nice streaky lacing left all around the edges of the glass.
Smell - Some pine with caramel notes, a hint of melon and low hanging berries. Fairly subdued aroma, but good impact.
Taste - A little grapefruit and with some floral aspects as well. Some earthy elements and underlying sweet melon and berries. Fairly bitter but not overwhelming. A subdued WCIPA.
Mouthfeel - Nice medium body with some prickly carbonation and a very dry finish.
Overall A solid IPA that nicely balances caramel, pine and fruity undertones with the traditional bitterness of an IPA. Tasty brew and worth trying if you can find it.
