On tap at the brewery. Served into a pint glass. Review from notes.
Appearance - Slightly cloudy, coppery amber colored beer with a small half finger of off white head. Quick dissipation.
Smell - Lots of bread crusts with a slightly sour vegetative smell. Wet leaves maybe. Plenty of caramel to back it up.
Taste - Initially sweet then a huge rush of bread comes through. Remains slightly sweet throughout.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied and somewhat crisp carbonation. Not wet or particularly dry to close.
Overall - Pretty solid marzen and paired nicely with a Schnitzel sandwich.
