A solid Munich Helles style beer. Served in a dimpled handled mug, the color was a solid clear gold under a thin white head that faded a bit too quickly but left very nice lace. Lots of malt fill the nose. The mouth is very prickly and light-bodied. The taste has lots of fresh malt, followed by a mild hoppy bitter chaser. The aftertaste is mainly malt, with a hint of that bitterness. A respectable, drinkable brew.
