Served in a dimpled handled mug, this brew comes out a medium brown hue under a thin tan head that lingers for a while and leaves great sheets of lace down the glass. There's a nice strong caramel nose, while the mouth is not too prickly, with a medium-bodied sweetness. There are lots of nice flavors here, with caramel, malt and plumb sweetness leading the way. The hops lurk in the background, never dominating but always present. The aftertaste is sweet and malty. Very nice indeed!
