Came in a dimpled handled mug. Almost clear gold that is somewhat darker than the filtered version, but not very cloudy for an unfiltered brew. The white head was thin, but stuck around for quite a while and left some very nice lace. The nose was very subdued (non-existent?), with equally weak portions of malt and mild hops. The mouth is well carbonated and a bit chewy with yeast. The taste opens with smooth malt, followed quickly by a nice hoppy bite. There's just a hint of metal in the hops, but it is not harsh. The aftertaste is mildly bitter - quite a pleasant drinking brew, despite the weak nose.
