I've learned to temper my excitement at trying new beers from most of these restaurant chains, simply to avoid any major disappointments when these beers fail to deliver. That being said, the Liberty Steak House's Pale Ale was tolerable. Pale amber in appearance with a virtually non-existent head. Grainy aroma with traces of a citrus-spicy hoppy smell evident. Taste is on the grainy side as well. Twinge of malty sweetness and slightly dry and crisp finish. Minimal bittering effect at the finish. Mouthfeel was medium-bodied and pretty smooth. Above-average drinkability.
A lightweight...dare I say bantamweight pale ale at best.
