An American interpretation of a German classic. This light-bodied beer has a pleasantly tart flavor. Served with a lemon wedge.

Pours a clear dark yellow color with a one to one and a half finger head which gives way to a little lacing. The aroma is of cerel and wheat malts with a small hint of citrus. The taste is of cerel backbone with hints of citrus and sweetness. The taste is a little watery. The mouthfeel is lightly carboanted. Overall the drinkablity is okay, its not a bad taste but it is nothing that would make you want more than a couple. It is a very easy drink though.

Lemon gold pour, very clear for an unfiltered wheat. 1-finger head, no retention, delicate lace.
Bright lemon nose. Slighty spicy.
Sweet lemonade in the initial hit. Very tart finish with a surprising amount of hop bitterness for a wheat.
Much thicker feel than expected. Thought at first I got the wrong beer.
Not a terribly light beer. Very tasty on a hot day, though.

Round 3: Probably the weakest of the beers tried at the Brewery. A mild haze, still weak for a wheat, decorated an otherwise canary yellow appearance with modest head retention. Aromas of wheat grains and light malts set the precedence, with mild esters and sweetness. Flavors of cereal grains and light malts dominate, leaving a harsh astringency as the flavors fade. Lacking any weight or expected wheat esters. Finishes watery and a bit bitter. I would pass on this one.

Appearance: Golden cloudiness pleasant appearance whispy white head leaves lacing down my glass. Aroma: Acidicly citrus seems tart in aromatics, some sweetness no clove or banana plain yeast used here some bready husky malt character. Taste: Overly tart on the citrus side of things a bready yeast tone without any good characteristics coming out to play, not a fan of American wheats and I can say this is not even one that is up to par the malts have grain husk flavoring that does the beer no justice.
