2021 fresh brewed. 16oz pour into heavy frosted pub glass. Orangy-Mango color with tropical aromas exploding from nose the DDH is wonderfully balanced with pineapple and sweet island fruits. Mouthfeel is smooth and finishes crisp. EVERYTHING these guys put out is delicious.

Wow, fantastic. This is 2018 batch and it is a winner. Juicy with both tropical and citrus flavors, pineapple, tangerine, orange, grapefruit, mango, apricot, and guava. Taste really brings these flavors to the forefront with the dry hopping spice to contrast. Smell is rich as well, but more airy. Just a delicious dipa!

As they explained when they recently re-released it, the newest batch of Strange Loops has the benefit of a lot of additional brewing experience and is slightly lower ABV (7.5%). I personally loved this DDH IPA and found very interesting flavors of orange and apricot. Need more!!

Dark saturated orange, opaque with a creamy texture, ample foam that lasts, and a nice collar of lacing around the edge of the glass.
Aroma is pungent and tropical, citrusy tangerine pith.
Fruity flavors of tangerine, starfruit, mango, also some wheat.
Supple and pulpy feel, light to medium bodied with smooth carb.
Light residual bitterness balances the initial sweet fruit.
Overall this is nicely balanced with nuanced tropical hop flavors.

Pours a gentle hazed bright orange yellow with a plump slight off-white head of foam.
Juicy tropical and citrus fruit notes.
Tropical and citrus notes of orange, grapefruit, mango, and pineapple.
Medium-bodied, medium carbonation, juicy, smooth.
Overall, needs a little more, but a great starting point and a few tweaks this beer could be incredible.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 750 ml bottle on August 18, 2017. Tropical fruits and slightly dank hops. A very nice double IPA. Recommended if you can find it.
