Contract brewed at Mikerphone, so I'm looking forward to this. Pours thick and syrupy, with a finger of head that leaves only light lacing. The raspberry is quite strong on this one, with a considerable tartness that is easily the main attraction. The cacao nibs turn up briefly on the nose and then again near the sweet finish once the beer has warmed a bit.

Raspberry overshadows the base stout character and other adjuncts. These still seem to balance out that bright fruit and acidity
