Wonder if there's going to be another Chicago brewery running a series of IPAs. If they're consistently as good as this one, I won't mind. Tannish orange, muddy looking, mild foam and lacing. Smell is citrusy, mildly dank hops. Taste is pure juice with a mild tang and dank hops. Feel is smooth and creamy. A great use of citra hops, real winner of a beer.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 750 mL bottle on December 18, 2017. The oats provide an especially soft mouthfeel. Citra hops make this beer explode with passionfruit and fresh citrus zest. Nice aroma.

Bottled 12/9/17; drank 12/14/17 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange/yellow rust appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice white head; frothy lace.
Grapefruit, cane sugar & faint caramel notes in the nose.
Soft medium mouthfeel with citrus bite.
Tangy grapefruit & orange citrus flavors up front; mild caramel notes on the finish. Flavorful, but too tangy & too sweet to really enjoy. Not sure I'm a St. Errant fan after 2 brews...
