750ml bottle. Served in a snifter glass. Dark black body, half finger offwhite head, not much retention or lacing. Smell is rich pastry stout, indeed. Vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon, milk chocolate, touch of fudge. It's a hell of a nose. Flavour really disappoints though, it starts out nice and sweet with milk chocolate, a bit of vanilla sweetness but I don't find any cinnamon here, and it becomes astringent quickly. Maybe a heavy cocoa presence, not sure, but it became astringent and does not present much of what the nose did. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thinner side as well, good carbonation, again astringent on the backend which did not deliver on the promise of the nose and initial sip.

One great established brewery and a really good up and comer brewing out of Mikerphone's location did this one, and they did it well. Poured into stout tulip. Dark, brown edging, slight remaining foam and lacing. Smells of chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon covering a mild roasty base. Taste is adjunct forward, dominated by the vanilla and cinnamon, while the chocolate has a gentle presence. Not sure where the graham cracker comes in. Definite alcohol kick which is the biggest part of the feel, slight thinness, hint of oiliness, not an easy sipper but fun to drink. Based on the ingredients, it's a s'mores style stout, and it's one of the better ones I've had due to being very well balanced and flavorful, but again, not sure where the graham cracker is.
