750 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 3/22/18.

Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with a half inch head of darker foam and some soapy lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, malt, light caramel. The taste is similar: vanilla, cinnamon, malt, chocolate, caramel, some cocoa, light molasses, kind of a light coconut drive by. Really like the flavor more as it warms. Smooth, somewhat creamy, a solid medium to full body, well carbonated.

Great flavor and aroma, a really deft touch with the cinnamon and vanilla. Very well executed, as it is exactly what it said it would be. Well worth a purchase.

Pour opaque light back with quickly disappearing foam. Smell was like a cinnamon roll with lots of vanilla. Taste had all of that, especially the cinnamon, but with some Christmas spices at the end. Texture had hints of winter warmer style to be honest, which is weird for a double stout, but still nice.

Pours charcoal black out of the bottle with barely a head to speak of; what's there is khaki-colored and bubbly. Fades quickly.

Aroma is spot on - roasted malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, light whiff of ground coffee beans and holiday spices. Warm and inviting.

Taste is roasted malt, charred grains, smoke, vanilla extract, vanilla candy-coating, fudge and some booze. Cinnamon comes on the back-end as a spicy and sweet kicker.

Mouthfeel is slightly sticky and borderline cloying, which isn't a surprise to me considering how vanilla hits my palate. I prefer the sweetness to be balanced by robust/bitter coffee or the sharp alcohol bite courtesy of barrel-aging. Enjoyable brew that depends on your tolerance for sweet beers.
