Hazy black and brown body with a tan head that slowly dissipates. Smell is cinnamon strong, with dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of maple syrup. Kind of smell like a gourmet churro. Taste starts with dark roast coffee and dark chocolate, then bridged by a kiss of maple and dark fruit, and then finished with a ton of cinnamon. Dangerously good at hiding the abv. Feel is highly cinnamon textured, but underneath is a smooth dark stout

First packaged goods from Saint errant and was not disappointed. It's good that they put it in 8 oz cans otherwise this could be dangerous. Good to the very last drop no.

I think this is a very good 11% stout. The maple is strong and flavorful, the coffee is definitely there, but I'm not sure I got any cinnamon, which is a shame because Vietnamese cinnamon is so great. I've seen some comments about its similarity to ISLBS, but Sweet Shadow is its own animal (and would be a significantly better version of ISLBS anyway). 8oz format is fantastic as well!
