Released 12/17/20; drank 5/31/21 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big tan head; decent lace.
Coconut, dark chocolate, peanut butter & faint smoke notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Coconut & dark chocolate syrup flavors up front; faint smoke & peanut notes on the finish.
Very sweet, but if you like this kind of brew, it's above average.

Served from the can in a Phase Three snifter.
I don't know what a "cauallier" is, but it sounds fancy. Regardless, this stuff pours a straight obsidian topped by a finger or so of sandstone foam. The nose is awash in coconut, verging on suntan lotion, with the usual roasted malts and mild coffee notes shoved into the background rather rudely. The taste brings in more of the same, though the coconut is decidedly toned down a bit, allowing the roast, coffee, and cocoa notes to finally shine. The body is decently hefty, with a light moderate carbonation and a chewy feel. Overall, I think the coconut overpowers things here, but otherwise it's a pretty tasty stout.

Aroma is roasted peanuts, dark malts, chocolate and coconut. The flavor is roasted peanuts, coconut, dark malts, dark fruit and a medium sweet/acidic/creeping warming alcoholic finish.
