Thai bananas are becoming more prevlanet on the craft scene and St. Errant takes advantage of their flavor. The beer is highly sweet and the banana takes a while to open up but it is worth the wait. The cinnamon is a bit lost due to the overall richness of the stout.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a deep obsidian topped by a finger of tan foam. The nose comprises chocolate syrup, light vanilla bean, banana-flavored Runts, mild roast, and a touch of cinnamon. The taste brings in more of the same, the sweet banana really taking a strong position in the middle of everything. The body is fairly hefty, with a light moderate carbonation and a just-shy-of-chewy feel. A very nice bit of pastry stout right here.
